The stay was primarily to explore the nearby attractions, particularly the LEGO House, which was just a short walk away. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a variety of fresh dishes that exceeded expectations. The location provided a calm environment while still being close to local shops and the Teddy Bear museum. It was a cozy home base for our adventures in the area.

The quietness, few people.
I would have loved some orange juice for breakfast.

I enjoyed the charming small and quaint hotel.
I was offered a tasty breakfast with fruits and. This hotel was located in a central area so close to the restaurant, buses & the town centre and a supermarket next door, and Lego House and shops in center of Billund.

I could see city from the window of the king room. The location was excellent and absolutely perfect, relatively near Teddy Bear Art Museum...

The dining room and breakfast buffet were nice. I appreciated the sliding doors on the shower stall (rather than just a shower curtain). The schedule for the shuttle bus to Legoland was posted in the lobby.
I wish there were an elevator so that we didn't have to carry all of our luggage up to the second floor. Since we were 3 adults staying in a double room, a cot was added, it was not so comfortable.

Refborg offers a homelike atmosphere with a cozy vibe conducive for business travelers. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a double bed formed by two twins, ample seating, and an electric kettle with a selection of teas and coffee. The breakfast spread was really good, including a variety of fresh items served in a pleasant dining area. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near local attractions like the Lego House, only a short walk away.
The surrounding noise from traffic can be slightly disruptive.

close to Legoland. Each reach via Billund Center
We ordered twin room. The bed is too short. The breakfast is also a bit simple

Nice room and a very polite and helpfull staff. Good breakfast buffet too
The way to the room (nr. 22) was a bit hard to find though and I think that 50,- for wireless internet is way too expensive. Also the juice mix at the breakfast was way to watery

To be honest nothing was particularly worth commenting on. Breakfast was ok - but we had to ask for everything to be replenished both mornings.
Didn't like the fact that there were some capped off bathtaps about two inches above one of the beds in the family room we had! It had obviously been a bathroom at some time. We therefore had to re-arrange the furniture accordingly. The room was fitted out extremely cheaply - thin duvets, thin pillows, thin curtains. This room was expensive - four very small, narrow beds which worked out nearly £300 for two nights - bed and breakfast. A family room should consist of one double bed and two singles. Not four singles

The location was perfect for our Lego adventure, just a quick 1-minute walk to the Lego House. My kids loved the breakfast, especially the tasty pastries. The staff was friendly, and we appreciated the convenient parking for our rental car. It was also lovely to enjoy the nearby supermarket for snacks.
My kids wished for larger TVs for movie nights.

Central, served by shuttle bus. Expected a nice, danish "kro standard" as we do not like the sleek A4-standard of Legoland Village machine or the big hotels. The food and menu were fine, well tasting.
Webpages picts a nice familyroom in the old kro. Reality was a too small room in the new building, too small for 2 childen and 1 adult. Night tables banged the head of the person sleeping in the extra bed - impossible solution!! No extra towel for the extra bed, bathroom not cleaned, tooth glasses dirty with tooth paste, wall above sink dirty (old tooth paste). Reported the towel and the tooth glasses in the reception, they promised to do something but did nothing. Ignorance? Billund Kro were out of tickets for Legoland, they expected new via post/mail. This caused us 30minutes extra waiting to buy at the entrance.
